Lead Therapist
Philippa Williams
Hi, I’m Philippa and here at the Peapod, I provide a safe, welcoming space, a nurturing pod of comfort and security where you can be your true self, free of judgement, where every part of you is met with empathy and compassion.
It is important for me as your therapist to build a genuine connection with you. I relate to clients in a warm manner, with an empathic sensitivity and sincerity that creates a safe, trusting relationship which nurtures your inner strength and allows you to grow in whichever way you choose. After experiencing motherhood and counselling myself, I knew I wanted to help others in this deeply healing way. The Peapod is here for you to feel heard and seen, gently relieving the burden you are carrying.
Specialised Support That Truly Understands
I focus on areas where women need the most specialised, gentle care. If you are feeling isolated or misunderstood, my work is focused on these three core areas:
Fertility & Infertility
Dedicated support for anyone navigating the journey of IVF, dealing with ectopic pregnancy, making decisions about abortion, or coping with the heartbreak of losing the dream of having a baby.
Perinatal & Postpartum
I offer caring support for women who are facing challenges like anxiety, depression, or any existing mental health concerns during pregnancy and after childbirth.
Grief & Loss
Compassionate support for the intense and unique grief that comes with losing a baby, stillbirth, or miscarriage. Feel free to talk with me openly and without any judgment; I'm here for you.
I would highly recommend Phili, she is warm, calm and has an incredible ability to make you feel safe, reassured and heard. She is knowledgeable and professional and I think above all - she is genuine and natural. — Natalie, Fellow Psychotherapist
